i betcha my little pal and i were the only 5 1/2 year olds in that hall that day. they didn't play anything like my folks' music. they were all kinda scary, those hippies, but they were awful nice to us and the girl with boobs i could see was dancing with me.

I wonder what the rest of the set was like. As it is, this would be great for recreating the feeling of an acid freakout.

I've listened to every show here at archive from 1965 to this show, and this is the first one that has an extended feedback section. The growth of the band in the previous 8 months was pretty amazing, moving from a blues standards (with psychedelic jams) phase to the Anthem of the Sun period of more complex original compositions.
