This is one utterly amazing dark horse of a show. Yes, it's a damn shame that the sound quality plummets right after New Potato starts, but my God, what survives here, the Other One, is...words fail me, but I'll try...friggin' monumental. Astonishing. Mind-boggling. The most ferocious performance of TOO I've EVER heard, and I've been a fan since '69, so I've heard a ton of versions. The creative interplay between Lesh and Garcia is off-the-charts brilliant. Absolutely breathtaking.

Wow. People need to get off their high horse. First, whether one is liberal or conservative, Christian, Jew, or athiest....it doesn't matter here. It's about the music. The Grateful Dead wove many strands of various traditions into their unique music. As a result, they brought all kinds of people together to share in their music. So, listen to the music play, OK?

The Dead provided a space and time for us all to groove and be free, regardless of anything! Keep your political insecurities out of it. That anyone would use this forum as a pulpit or a shoebox is sad! You missed the point and its all over now baby blue. The Dead were the doormen and they opened the door for us. Be consumed by your egos somewhere else. Aint no time to hate!!!
