Let me bring you up to speed TeaBag (snicker, snicker). Saying a show is "sick" means that it is so good it makes you ill! I am sorry you have never heard of this before. You were very lucky to have seen the Dead, but you were just another 2nd generation hippy that didn't see Pigpen or Keith, so that dosen't mean much to me. I love shows from the '82-'86 era, but you weren't seeing the "sick" shows of the 60's and 70's so I wouldn't act like you are some true Deadhead.

  • ★★★★★ · SICK SHOW! · Phatty · 2008

This show SICK SICK SICK! The Dark Star is very "tasty" The St Stephen is "totally radical" The Eleven is "on the money" "fer shure, fer shure" Jerry is totally "ragin'" and on and on. People of all types use descriptive adjectives to imply different things. Like the word "BADASS" back in the 80's when you were on tour BADASS was one of those words. As in BADASS show--the show had no real badasses (besides the Hells Angels) but badass describes something that was extraordinary.

  • ★★★★★ · The GRATEFUL DEAD "Live On Stage" February 21, 1969 at the Dream Bowl, Vallejo, CA, U.S.A. · oh_uh_um_ah · 2009

` ~^|\_@|@_/|^~ ~ / \ ~ Classic 1969 GRATEFUL DEAD. Not the least bit concerned with commercial success, the GRATEFUL DEAD play their hearts out with their classic renditions of our most popular songs from 1969. Original "Dark Star" arrangement, 1969 classic sound. I highly recommend adding this show to your 1969 GRATEFUL DEAD collection. Here's one way to download this show: The IA recommends users of Windows XP view this web-page with RealPlayer.
