This is an amzing show, full of energy and creativity, with some unique jams and a fun, primitive Good Lovin. But I do have to say that the band started to go way downhill after 1977, with much less physical and creative energy. At least we are lucky to have all this amazing material from the peak 67-70 years, the one-drummer, Jazz/Dead 72-74 years, and the intial post-retirement stuff from 76-77.

This is one of those rare shows where you can really tell that the whole band is blatantly blitzed. Everything's off. Like Acid Test quality dissonance. It gets a little more structured after Good Lovin', in itself a bit of an experiment, but this set wanders mostly way off the map. I recommend it only for special occasions.
