this is probally my favorite Mickey and the Heartbeats show, the hammond ogran player really gives the music a new flavor, the jamming is Bomb to say the least, the Jam>the Eleven Jam is the best part

available at this time by far. Great jamming. Reminds me of the Garcia/Wales Hooteroll album. What I heard is that Bobby and Pig were booted from the band temporarily for not showing up at practice.

No, this is not a great Mickey & the Heartbeats show, but Howard Wales guests on organ and he proves himself very capable with his jazzy runs. No, he doesn't step over the Dead; it's just that he's too high in the mix. You have the recording to blame for that, which by the way is very hissy and muddy. At least it's not an AUD. But the hour-plus Dark Star is really unique.
