First: the quality of this recording is exceptional. Great isolation of the instruments. Incredible mix. Seond: As many have noted, from Good Lovin' onwards this is every bit as magnificent and inspired as 2-13-70 and, at times, better than that. The Cryptical reprise goes in a completely different direction than 2-13 but does not fail to decimate.

I like this very mellow and very intimate show which finds the band in fine form with Weir bringing out the Yellow Dog joke/story. I wonder if that joke has made it to our Japanese Dead heads yet in Tokyo. Already stated but a very crispy Black Peter. I like how Bobby stumbles on Mama Tried but Jerry comes in with some great backing vocals to prop up the tune. That little 50's tune they hit before Dire Wolf pretty interesting.

Just a cool band playing cool tunes in a cool a** place!! It's September 13, 2010... some 40 years later and they're still rocking it out here... the music will never stop.... Love you all and love archive... Lookin for some bill while i'm here.... OK, the recording... great sound for the time... Heard so many it's hard to compare anymore...but i'd put this close to the top...great sound, good energy, you can hear all the vocals really well and they are on cue...maybe not "smoking" but enthused…
