To the best of my research, Mammoth Gardens is now the Fillmore Auditorium at Colfax and Fillmore. In the venue, today, they have photos of many of the bands that have played there. You can see a picture of the show and the location credited to Mammoth Gardens. This was later confirmed by a story published in one of the Dead sales rags. I'll dig it up. The hall was originally built as a warehouse, It still has the steel framed roof trusses and the feels of a nice warehouse.

- ★★★★★ · Just cuz its there. · Katharsys · 2008
I'm gonna give this show a fiver. Not just cuz its on my B-day (or the day after)14 years before I was born, not just because the s***** sound quality makes this acoustic IKYR sound all that more ethereal and timeless, but SIMPLY CUZ ITS THERE! Shows like this are not to be taken for granted. I'm so glad someone had the where-with-all to stick a mic in the air at this show or else I never would have heard it. THANK YOU!!!
- ★★★★★ · The Eleven Makes it worth it · kelting · 2011
Damn! I've now listened to the Eleven six times. So nice to hear it so cleanly played without overamped Lesh bass muddying Jerry's licks. The first set is sleepy but somehow I still liked it. The quality of the recording is not great but it sounds like the room was a tough one to record in. But the Eleven makes it all worth it. Don't miss it.
