I don't know where to begin except everytime I listen to this show I have to laugh as Phil and other band members issue disclaimers about how cold it is and how they'll be playing tomorrow and it'll be better and so forth. BALONEY. I have no idea what the band was on but the level of intensity and creativity on display in this show (of perfect length, without a single dull spot) is astounding. The Morning Dew blooms like shrooms in May without a hint of over-ripeness.

A true gem of a show, with both incredible musical content and socio-politcal signifance. I've been listening to this show on an old hissy tape for 15 years, and experiencing it now, with this sound quality, is a moving experience. What can I say about this "Dancing" that hasn't already been said? Well, I'll try. Jerry's work on this has a ferocity and grittiness, Phil (as stated much more eloquently below) leads them on this journey with authority and grace.
