Audio is a little murky but Don't Ease Me In is a baller show opener. First part sounds all acoustic. Audio cleans up after that for a nice Friend of the Devil. Honestly really enjoy the chatter between Bob and Jerry trying to get the sound people to correct the guitar volume, and it improves drastically after that with a stellar Dire Wolf that is as close to the album as you are probably going to get. Killer Dark Hollow. Candyman and Black Peter both good. Just a solid acoustic look at the Workingman's Dead days leading to the American Beauty release later this year. One of only four How Long Blues. Might be my favorite Deep Elem Blues.

Many, many thanks to however made this available and to whoever upped it. Great show, excellent fidelity for a 1970 show. There are some glitches and a couple of patched songs, but still very, very listenable by anyone's standards who has listened to a decent number of shows from this era. I love the funky percussion at the start of China Cat --> Rider -- I would have loved to have heard them do stuff like that more often.

How Long Blues, Deep Elem Blues, Cumberland Blues... Hell yeah! The How Long is a delightful Jerry rarity. It may be my only SBD copy of it by the GD. This version of New Speedway is nice and jammed out with a three minute jam outro to end a nice acoustic set. We thank the powers that be for getting this to us.

` .___|---|___. ~^|\_@|@_/|^~ ~ / \ ~ ~Super 70' Soundbard & Classic 1970 Sound~ This show is a "gotta have it, must have". At the begining of Elpaso Jerry says: "Okay now here's where Weir gets his wish...at the expense of everybody..." Apparently someone forgot to turn the tape machine on when "Easy Wind" started, so all we get is a Garcia solo and Pigpen singin' the last verse and then it ends...freakin' hippies!
