This is the last truly great Pigpen show. Would we like a vault edition? Of course. Where's the Bear...? Very safe in his State vault. After sampling the earlier tunes in the set my d/l began at the Good Lovin' where the mojo finds its hand. And if starting there this is a very* good audience tape from the fabulous Capitol Theatre where some of the finest performances from 1970 live on thanks to archive.org.

Regarding the comments like "not a good example," "barely makes it because of a bad tape," "barely listenable," "bad sound quality," etc. WAKE UP. It is an audience from 1970. It is actually a VERY good AUD for this period. Sure, everyone would like perfect quality for every performance, but this one is imminently listenable and I am very, very glad to have it available.
- ★★★★★ · DEAR GDP: CEASE RELEASING SHOWS WE ALREADY HAVE GREAT SQ SOURCES FOR · direwolf600 · 2024
Seriously, I'm sure Dave is a swell fella, but explain the wisdom in releasing Cornell, or 5/28/77, or the countless others that we already have high quality sources for, and have for decades. What we NEED from you is to track down better sources for shows like this monster. Or 10/26/72 (PITB-maybe their highest high art jam ever and there are 3 barely ok versions.) If all you have for some show is a partial, GREAT!! Let's have it.
