I was fortunate enough to be at every show during this run at the Capitol. I remember that there was a bomb threat called in and the fire marshal got on stage and told us that we all had to leave so that they could search the building. After the search they had no choice but to let everyone in. The theater was packed to the rafters. I remember Garcia and Weir saying we know that you're in here (referring to the person that called in the scare ) and they thanked the person.

I am no professional, but to these untrained ears this version is the best of the lot. And what a show! I am not always a big fan of El Paso, but this acoustic version is off the charts followed immediately by a rare and quality Operator from Pig Pen. In general the aud source really works of the acoustic set - you can easily imagine yourself sitting in the 10th row along with a couple hundred friends.

This is as good as DP #8. The crowd is probably a lot of the same people. Everybody is having more and more fun as things go on. This AUD really puts you in a VIP seat. This is the yin & yang of archives shows. Please keep this show to yourself... if you can! This is a pile of gold I want to take a bath in it. By the end of morning dew I was ameoba headed... riding and gliding as things get tighter and faster until the inevitable flash bang poof and I am up out of the bottle.
