This was my first Dead concert of what turned out to be about 20. Even on not their best night they blew us away. The sound was incredible in a small venue. This hand held mic and cheap recorder doesn't do it any justice but it's great to hear it again. I hadn't heard it since that night 52+ years ago. Thanks to whoever had it.

Not a stellar show, like the Capitol Theater run from earlier in the month, but solid, and very fun to listen to. These old audiences are such historical gems. It's great hearing people chatter in the audience, saying "Far Out!" and calling out songs. The crowd really gets into the Other One. You get those classic chick-at-a-Dead-show screams that are so sexy and cool. Good Lovin gets em riled up, too. Definitely worth a listen.
