I wanted to second what's already been mentioned. This version of Cold Rain and Snow is fantastic. And this sound is with a possible two generations of tapes? It's crisp. An anomaly like the incredible sound on the audience recording of the Hollywood Palladium '71. The Dancing in the Streets here is distractingly good. Phil is right in the center on this and clear as day.

Amazing music! Don't know why I didn't listen to this one years ago. Pretty much my favorite time, along with early 1968. I know many people have good fast internet these days so streaming is not an issue, but if you do want to record streamed-only shows (and I do so I can listen whenever and wherever I want) it is really easy on a Mac. I use Peak LE (previously) or Audio Hijack Pro (easier to use, no need to plug speaker out into mic in).

how is it that the old stuff from around 1970 is some of the best sounds going out there? is it because they brought the old multitrack recorders employing nice fat analog tape? was it the LSD then? it seems to drip through the speakers the stuff folks are tripping on today? that i don't know, it ain't nothing good , judging by the state a the world, time to make it better, which this show shows, can be done, starting with some f****** music, for f***'s sake, i say
