I'm biased PIG RULES..the cut in GL kills. This is good/great stuff. Jerry's curling fills in a killer Cumberland. Pig's organ fills at the climax of Casey Jones. Billy's foot pedal in Sugar Mag and beyond.(OK, I'm a drummer, forgive me) but he's popping the hell out of it. Vocal harmonies that ring and Phil and Ron in top form. How bout when they stop in the first verse of HtH and let the audience finish the stanza. Bob's tinny 1st lead followed by Jer's "blisters on your back" follow up.

i too find information on this show lacking. i was there though and can confirm it was superb!!! fairly small venue and a fairly small but very appreciative crowd. new riders opened with jerry and played a wonderful set! pigpen was in great form! the whole show was more like a dance although i do remember standing on chairs on the arena floor. excellent live sound quality. i remember thinking at the time how great the band sounded live.

how did i miss this show; i've been listening to the shows 'this date in history' or whatever they're called and somehow missed this one til today. wow. right now i am listening to gdtrfb for the second time because it kicks(along with e'thing) but listen to the beginning and there is definitely a jam worth listening to a the beginning; it sounds like an eyes tease, before there was an eyes of the world, nice. Pig rocks. God he just rocks. They all are rockin.
