Deadbase.com has the setlist in the wrong order Bertha cuts in with somewhat warbly SQ. The song itself is nice, good energy. MAMU, one of the most played songs, and generally a pleaser. No exception here. Like El Paso, I enjoy how Jerry plays along under Bobby's singing. Bird Song is great, nice tempo, driven guitar work by Jerry. Promised Land rocks. Sugaree features a deliberate Jerry. I like it, but it kind of slowed things down, but it wasn't due to lack of energy so that was ok.

This Truckin>Dark Star>Comes a Time is without a doubt one of the most powerful sequences I have heard in 1972 and is one of my new all time favorite jams. The Truckin' is unique, the Comes a Time is beautiful as they come (don't even mind the AUD sound) but the Dark Star is absolutely transcendental. Don't want to go overboard, but this is possibly my new favorite of the year. One word: Garcia.

I could give almost every 72 show 5 stars. Almost all of them have huge mid-second set jams centered around Dark Star or The Other One. There are a number of secondary jams also, with Birdsong (cut short due to technical difficulties), China>Rider, and Playin' all getting out there, not to mention the usual NFA>GDTRFB>NFA closer. But it's the Dark Star that gets me every time.
