I like this show best for it's Runaway HC Sunshine Jam, unique to the Boston Garden, Funny how Bobby McGee tacks on to the back end of various jams, eg the mississipi half step from 12/19 DP1 not included in the CD, explains why the fade occurs and no Rio Grand. I think it was Bobby''s answer to Jerry's Sing Me Back Home following Dark Stars and other jams. This show clearly is not held in the same light as other tour ends, 6/9/77, 5/26/72, 4/29/71.

And because this is a solid 73 show, it gets 5 stars. BUT...that's mostly for the Playin' and Set 2. I love much of the jamming that the boys do in 1973, especially, in this show, the Eyes, Playin', and the SMOKING Here Comes Sunshine. However, we also have to sit through too many standard, unexploratory versions of songs. See most of set one. Very long and kind of boring after a while. The worst of it all is the You Ain't Woman Enough, which is just torture.
