    I don't normally like to overstate the quality of things I'm reviewing but I want to put it here for any of you who read this and have not yet listened to the HCS on Dick's Picks. YOU MUST GET IT. It is for me one of the top 5 moments in Dead jamming history. You might never hear them more exploratory and in sync as a band with Jerry proving so many transcendent moments.

    You're a tool. You should be thankful for all the work D*** put in to selecting the material, running it past the powers to be, and helping to put out the best quality product from 2 track tapes recorded 30+ years ago that were never meant for public consumption. So what if the collection is not a complete show, is out of order blah blah blah? Stop your whining and enjoy what ya got. As for this collection, it's an A+ in my book and DP 1 is awesome in its "altered" state. Cheers.
