Sunday, May 12, 1974 was Mother's Day. My first ever Dead show, and was Mom ever p*****. Clearly, I made the right choice. (Sorry Mom) The Washoe Zephyer was really cranking that day. The stage was set up so that the wind was coming from the band's back toward us. Seemed like that Wall of Sound was the one doing the blowing, especially when Phil launched some bombs! Great set- what can I say? Ones first Dead show is a very special time in a young mans life.

See, now that interests me. Knowing what Jerry thought of my favorite shows. Scrappy, huh? I disagree. This is a solid show, and contains the best jam portion until 5/19.
