...my heart and mind and soul was absolutely blown away to the point of tears by what must be the best version of Greatest Story ever told I've ever heard...Donna at her best, Jerry on fire, Phil killing it with a hypnotic baseline. My expectations were so low but I was simply amazed by this show. There's something magic about the acoustics in the Jai-Alai Fronton that amplifies the crowd voices between songs and makes the venue feel really small. You can hear so much.

while the playing isn't perfect, and obviously the night after is where the big time action is, this show needs way more attention. all the 'little' tunes seem much more energetic and fun than usual. and the china>rider is one of the best i've heard in '74, rivaling the likes of 5/25 and 6/26. the Eyes>Wharf Rat>Sugar Mags is also well jammed with a unique spacey segue from Eyes to wharf rat. like 5/25 and 7/31 this is a great party show... seriously, check it out!

The whole year is one incredible performance but this show stands out among the giants... Jerry is at his greatest, never ceasing to amaze. As others stated this is probably the most amazing Bobby McGee ever and definitively one of the best Greatest Story Ever Told too... the rest of the show is pretty much breathtaking as well!
