while i know the majority didnt, it makes me laugh how some people can. this show is really awesome, the great american music hall show is great too but there is something different about this show, i think the jams here are a little more spacey. the quality of this board is certainly the best one on here imo. the auds are cool to listen to for the audience reaction too. i honestly dont hear anything "sloppy" about this show.

  • ★★★★★ · great show · GratefulDavo · 2007

A great show in 1975, good sound. Some songs have a loose feel. "One from the vault" is a great show also from 1975 and might be better but this is still a Great show. "One from the vault" has some different songs and was a different setting, It was their maiden Voyage concert at the Great American Music Hall for "Blues For Allah". This show was performed at Golden Gate Park about 5 weeks later, it has a similar feel. It's kinda the sister show to "One from the Vault" show.

  • ★★★★★ · A great weekend in San Fransisco · loose overhang · 2012

So there I was standing at the side of I5 trying to hitch a ride back north to Canada after spending a few weeks climbing in Yosemite when some fine folks from LA stopped and asked me if I'd like to join them in San Fransisco to help them help their cousin move out of his house AND to attend the free concert in Golden Gate Park featuring The Dead. Lucky me. I had a place to stay, some excellent people to show me the sights of the great city and a concert to look forward to.
