The recording is f****** perfect. Considering the night after this show at the same venue is one of my favorite shows of all time we had to listen to this show as well. It is, of course, completely kick a** and full of energy. The entire show is worth a listen. We get a deeply personal Ship of Fools.

The drums, are immense, and mind blowing, really clean sounding. The snare pattern is really complex. I am a huge fan of this song, and the intro ten seconds in has me hooked. Look up all of Charlie Miller's Shows!!

scarlet begonias and the set 2 opening tryptic are the highlights. most inspired franklin's so far (in terms of the progression of time and the grateful dead). the crowd and i loved the whole thing

The Dead have been focused on a narrow group of tunes in the rotation for the start of touring 1976. Yet they have been really been mixing up the set lists. Example tonight we find Lazy Lightning mid -2nd set. Tunes like FOTD, Let it Grow-- used in both sets as well The end result is we are getting some really nice versions of old standards, reworked classics and new tunes. Great sound, vocals are particularly sweet! "He dances the circular track of the plow ever knowing"
