I went back and listened to this show many times. A favorite of mine now.

The only tickets that were sold for these shows were through the Deadhead organization. You had to send them a certified check and a request for which nights and they would send you the tickets pending availability. Even back then, tickets outside the theater were scalping for $60 and up, and there were hardly any available. This show was incredible. The sound quality is not so great, but the material is excellent. Thanks for the memories. This was my first show.

  • ★★★★★ · eyes · gratedude69 · 2010

the eyes here is great, sweet intro nice and long, great 2nd set in general, is this the first post drums wheel? i think so, deadbase agrees us blues encore rocks good song selection first set, sound aint so bad overall, little muffled in places but certainly listenable and enjoyable!

  • ★★★★ · Slow to get going but hot set II · capn doubledose · 2004

Until brown eyed women they do not really seem to be that into it but st stephen>NFA is rocking and the eyes takes forever to finally get the first verses jerry keeps teasing its great... the sugar mag is wonderful with losts of energy. All of that said, sound quality is 3/5, and while the crowd is into it for sure, set II is short and compared to Boston and Beacon shows from this tour not one of the strongest. Listen to it though there is some good stuff.
