This show is special for its historical value in that it showcases a wild Morning Dew at the end of the show. The first since 10-18-74. Given the hiatus is 75 it was not too many shows yet still about two years. This was one of only 3 Dews to be played in 76 and was not played again until Feb of 77 and did not play it but 5 times in 77 and then once in 78 and once in 79 and 4 times in 80, 7 times in 81 and 8 times in 82 and 7 times n 83. This makes 35live performances of Dew in 9 years!

Won't someone please leak a clean SBD of this one? This is a tight show with plenty of good jamming. Crazy Fingers takes off into an expansive jam, and Slipknot! has plenty of intriguing internal cogitations. Dancing in the Streets never catches fire for some reason, but Wharf Rat does, and The Other one is a barn-burner. 14 minutes long, winding down into a 72-74 style space jam. Morning Dew is just exactly perfect.

Summer/Fall of '76 is an underrated era. There are so many great shows from this period, and this is one of them. It says that this is a soundboard tape, but to me, it sounds more like an audience .The recording isn't the best, but I found it quite listenable for the most part. The Morning Dew, however, sounds bad. There's some weirdness earlier on, too. During Wharf Rat, IIRC.
