this show is phenomenal. the recording is frustrating at times but not awful. good crowd but some frustarting chatting/screaking next to kics at points. but wow what a hot show. first set is phenomenal. high energy, tight, beautiful playing from the get. 1st uncle of the year. beautiful roses.q donna is flawless tonight. her tone, pitch, resonance and just so in it. she makes cassidy for me and delivers dancin. 2nd cassidy of the year, this one is beautiful and tight.

This was my second Dead show. 15 years old and took trains and busses from Queens to Passaic. Missed the last bus and was stranded until the morning. Parents not happy! For me this was a magical show. Maybe not one of the best 77 recordings but still I guess it was one of those shows you had to be at to understand. Sometimes I like aud recordings like this that make you feel like you are back in the crowd.

Get this and find out. Whoever said this a "one star" show is prolly accustomed to perfect sbds. This has occassional chatter, but the sound is FANTASTIC all things considered. This is the same source that was used for that DVD/VCD partial that circulated some time back, and the sound is soytainly worth a listen. Check out the grooves eminating from Dancin !!!
