What a beautiful recording. Crystal clear, powerful and the vocals are mixed just exactly perfect. But it's not all about the recording folks, nope. The first Jack a Roe, check. Bobby singing one of the best Minglewoods ever?, check. Donna singing beautiful vocals with Bobby on a powerful (my favorite version in '77) Looks Like Rain, check. The entire first set is nothing short of wonderful. The Scarlet/Fire is exceptional.

I've read alot of reviews that trash Donna and while I am guilty of turning down the volume just before a post-scarlet or playin' wail keep in mind that the band asked her to be there. Most of the complaints seem to be about those occasional over the top moments. Listen to 5-26-77 LLRain. It borders on being downright pretty and definately some of the finest harmony you will find before Brent came along.
