    This is the last performance of Brokedown Palace for quite a long time (12/26/79 to be exact). Nice one, I'll have to check out the rest of the show some time! Thanks to Bill Golden for making it available.

    This is a very good '77 show, just finished listening to the whole thing, end to end. Some of the highlights include Half Step, Tennessee Jed, Music Never Stopped, Candyman, and the whole 2nd set jam which peaks in a crushing version of Whart Rat, and is nicely bookended by PITB. The return of Playin is very reminiscent of what they were doing in the early 70's, when they played those mammoth versions of the songs.
