lol....I was there too....and yes we were both on acid and yes they did wear masks on Werewolve's....lol...I was on front rail....brutally hot in the joint....omg.....the best era for the dead in my opinion.....bias I guess...

This was my 2nd Dead show. My first was back in November '77 in Rochester and became Dick's Picks Vol. 34. I vaguely recall a wild ride from Geneva (where I was attending Hobart College at the time)to Syracuse for the show. A bunch of my friends and I ended up at one of those greasy spoons pre-concert.

This was one of the very first tapes I owned. I haven't downloaded this yet that's why I gave 4 stars and not five. Its been forever since I've heard it. Ship of Fools, Dancin', NFA, Warewolves were all KICKIN! from what I remember. I had a multiple gen. AUD that didn't sound great-I hope this is a little better. God bless you people at archive.org!
