  • ★★★★★ · This show rocks - Dick's Picks 25, a best of '78 · L. Rosley · 2006

I can see why D*** picked this one. A great show from start to finish. Jerry is hot on Big River and does a beautify vocal and guitar on Peggy-O. Let it Grow is full of energy with tight jamming. This is followed by a rollicking Deal. Keith really shines on Bertha, which is better than any Bertha I've heard from 1977, and compares well with those of the early '70's. Nice Estimated, and an uptempo Eyes that Jerry flies through. Drums is too long -- the longest song of the show.

  • ★★★★★ · Excellent Show · Rossboy · 2005

From the period of some of the strongest performances of their history. Can be purchased as Dick's Picks #25, however, the U.S. Blues encore is not included.......rats

  • ★★★★★ · Lost Sailor · wrogn · 2017

About 9 minutes into Estimated, you can hear Weir playing chords of Lost Sailor, which wouldn't appear for another couple years. I've loved this show for a long time.
