SOUNDBOARDS may be clear............but they are not GRATEFUL DEAD SHOWS IN ANY WAY OR FORM.....since without the audience participation/shouts /screams......... there is no show!!..........To capture the memories of a show the audience must be audible on the recording,,,,,,,,,,,since the energy of the audience is an integral part of the show,,,,,,,,,,,,it motivated the band to play better........the band or any band loves the audience to cheer them on.....to dance....to clap......the vibes…

I love the solo in Candyman, & Loser just smolders !!! Wow and how about that sweet Delia-D ? I think my all-time fav version. Actually the whole show just kind of burns like a log of good oak ! Very heartfelt renditions of standards like Bertha & GDTRFB but love the Estimated > Eyes too. Donna truly is on this night, not drowning out at all. The crowd is really into it too, and ready to feed off the energy and go along for the ride.

Superior recording! This AUD source captures the excitement of seeing the Dead on a GREAT night without any fan interference. Donna is ON, From The Heart Of Me is excellent, as are the vocals and harmonies throughout the show. To me, an audience recording such as this makes me feel like soundboards are missing something, namely the excitement of the crowd!
