    I agree totally with you....I am 555 and have seen countless shows.......See Philip all the time around town stutting his stuff with his wife Jill. I was young and belived in the "dead" dream..wow taken in! Taking Jerry's guitars was just the start...Further bus just got a flat!!!! Jerry is not smiling Mickey!!!!!

    Interesting to read reviews from 2009... I doubt there is any music group that has attained substantial recognition and the subsequent money it brings that remained more true and authentic to their calling than the Grateful Dead. These guys met when they were kids people change over time but they kept the music first. And yes I see Dead merchandise everywhere but rather than view it through the lens of corrupted commodification I view it as spreading the word for this music .
