wow..the sound is SOOO good. It's that perfect mellowness of Jerry's voice and Brents keyboard. Classic 79'! The most aesthetically pleasing show I've heard in a long time. It's up there with Cornell 77'. I have nearly 1,200 hours of Dead on tape/CD and for some reason I have overlooked this show. It's automatically in my top five. Cornell, 78 red rocks, 72 Veneta, 2/13/70, AND THIS SHOW! IM NOT BULLSHITTING YOU.

Longest Row Jimmy ever at 18 mins+ Comes out swinging and I agree with my predecessor that I completely missed this one. 1979 was never a year I had alot of interest in and was astonished at the pure hard driving / trippy power of these shows. This is no different - You will not be disappointed! CHECK OUT THE FUNKY ECHO MACHINES AT WORK IN TERRAPIN AND LOST SAILOR + jam....

I was just pokin around looking for a good Shakedown and thought I'd give this one a shot... MY GOD MAN!!! This is so jammy and jazzy and funky and psychedelic-y... just alot of fun! And the sound is damn good too!!! I've only heard the Shakedown and give it 5 stars, sound is 4.5 stars... if anyone has any recommendations on shows/songs with this same 'feel', upbeat and happy, makes ya wanna smile, email me at hopperdave2000@yahoo.com. Yeah. I know. The boys always make ya wanna smile!!!!!
