A show with one source, and it's not complete. But it IS a great AUD, and we're lucky to have it. The tape was paused frequently and will appeal more to old-schoolers (rather than GOML-nniall SBDers). I was given this as a brown-bag trade BITD and even in low gen it was a great show. I didn't have enough from '80 to know just how good. Today it's a hidden gem, though it is recognized on some lists as an '80 fave. It is also known for having the first Stranger.

For those that were there, it was a cold, frosty evening in Passaic, NJ, not the place you would normally hang out unless there was a really good reason to be there! The three shows were some of the first lottery shows and tickets were scarce and expensive. On this night, we were looking for anything to get inside, but could not afford the going rate. I found an obstructed view ticket for $ 20.00 and we had $ 50.00 for the second ticket.

I had waited to download this one because the one review was less than glowing. This is a damn fine aud. The sound is very clear and clean, a little lean on the low end, you can 'hear the room', near field ambient noise (talking, clapping, singing) is minimal. The band seems a little subdued but the playing is very competent which makes for a mellow and interesting show. A couple missing tunes but this is the only way to get this show, so ya gets what ya gets.
