1st set Jack Straw-> Franklin's- Take that to the bank Cassidy, mellow-(earlier in the set the better) They Love Each Other-yes indeed The Lightning>Supplication is great. Brent has some nifty backing vocals going as Bobby has his way with the Nassau ladies. Much more brisk pace on the Peggy-O then in the early years of the 70's Far From Me- Brent does not go out of the way to sell this tune like he does when he brings it back in the late 80's Stranger-> Deal- A good combo Set Two Althea…

i love the mellow feel of 1980. yet it can go from drifting through a warm opiate cloud, to Jerry fanning and going ape s*** in a second (9/6/80 Sugaree for example). It kind of reminds me of how the energy would rise and fall back in the spring of 78', yet with Brent, in 1980, the parts that are not shredding, are much more fluid and cohesive. Check out the 5/10/80 Rider. Insane.

Who's singing harmonies on Terrapin @ 6:20 , end of Pt. 1? ~Since the end is never told We pay the teller off in gold~ ... That certainly aint Brent, unless we're pitched up 5% and auto-tuned? Listening faithfully to every 1980 show chronologically, so happy to finally get some reward for my efforts
