sheesh. what a great f****** band. ted nugent's sets were 100% less creative, and made up of 100% s******* songs. the althea makes you feel like your swimming in the ocean off the coast of some tropical island. the feel like a stranger is tight. and jerry garcia is, as always, peter pan and jesus christ and chuck berry and miles davis and hercules all rolled into one. also dig the triple threat rock and roll encore. the audience at this show probably couldnt stop dancing for weeks!

I kept that ticket stub in my pocket for years. It was a hot day and I remember some one from the stage had a water hose and sprayed water into the air. I remember that show like it was yesterday and this year is the 50th. That was a great show you can show up the day of the show and get tickets. Its not like now people on top of people. There was plenty of room to move and dance. I wont forget this show.

well the crowd was really great. beautiful, but hot day and the band was smoking! drove from Charlotte 30 hours straight on cryttal meth. scored some killer LSD from a guy in the lot with a SYF tattoo on his shoulder both days were magical.
