I hadn't known about this show being up here, and now thirty years I discover it. My memories are so vivid from this concert... I was, at one point standing on the stage with my clothes rippling from the giant speaker I was directly in front of. I was allowed to climb up there to shoot photos, so I snapped off a whole roll of great close-ups of the band. Too bad the shots have disappeared before I could scan them in. Still searching for the negs.

Summer tour 1980:Aug 24, Grand Rapids Michigan at the Grand Center. Ah yes I remember this one well. I have the stub on my wall right here! The auditorium was half empty which made the experience quite rare and fun. I recall the jam in Let It Grow was really jazzy and hot. This tape confirms my memory. Passenger sizzles. Listen to Jerry's slide! The sound is clear and crisp with no chatter during the tunes though the bass is a bit low (ah for a soundboard...).
