today is my naked birthday and would like to say for the first and perhaps only time that the grateful dead have helped define me and today that is true as it was 29 years ago when i got first turned onto 'reckoning' and the acoustic stuff. i was a freshman in college then and the 'quiet' jams just turned me on. since then there have been so many roads, getting lost, and now i have a strong, fast computer with access to the archive and life is indeed grand.

Here's what I'm wondering. Can we use some stimulus money to burn a copy of this acoustic set and send it to everyone in the U.S.? I think we would all be in a better place if we had music like this to listen to every day. Gorn
