This is a great AUD recording in a great venue. There is some fade out in Cold Rain & Snow, but besides that well worth the download. There is a lot of complaining about no SBDs, but people need to remember two things: the Heads of the past kept their mouths shut, because it was the music that was important, not the scene. Secondly, these shows in the Warfield are in an intimate setting with great acoustics. The combination of the two sets up for quality sound if the taper was efficient.

This "Loser" is absolutely steller. Right up there with 5/8/77. I'll take an audience recording in a venue like this any day over a soundboard in a large venue. This is where you get at least a glimpse of what it was like to have been there. Great show all around. Great song selection especially.

This was my 50th Dead show. I loved the Warfield & made it to 12 of the 15 shows in this run! I have to agree that audience tapes are the way to go...captures the experience best. And sometimes I can hear my friends (between songs!). Thank you! <3
