Of course the acoustic set is great, as they all were on this special tour, but the electric sets, and this recording are simply fantastic! Why? #1 Garcia is simply on fire this night vocally and on the guitar. The rest of the band clearly know it, and follow suit, playing beautifully. Brent really shines on many of these tunes as well, I wish he had played one of his own tunes. #2 This audience recording is amazing...you can hear every instrument clearly.

Grate Taping Job Under Hostile Conditions. You'd Think The Dead Would Be A Li'l Easier On Busting People In New Orleans. I Was Told They Were Hauling 'em Out By The Handfuls. Mr. Stankiewicz And Beyer As Usual Bring Home The Bacon, And This One Sizzles With Low Heat. So It Comes Out Just So. May The Goddess Bless The Tapers As They Have Blessed Us. This recording is very very good. Considering they popped into town for only 2 shows in the middle of this historic run of shows. The band is on and recording is just as good as the boys energy. You did a great job pulling off this one.
