Ok people, the complaints are out of control. Although there are some audio problems with the equipment and the recording suffers slightly, this is an "excellent" copy. Keep in mind the time frame of this show. It's almost 30 years old and digital was just entering the public realm at the time. Almost every analog recording is going to have some signal displacement (hiss). As stated by another listener, this can be easily corrected. I am going to 'remaster' this show myself.

This is a great show, if a tad understated. Hypnotic versions of Cassidy and Birdsong in the acoustic set. Excellent Jack Straw, Cold Rain, Ramble On. The Fire on the Mountain (which appears cut to pieces on Dead Set) through the end of the show is pretty close to perfect. FOM>NFA has an interesting aquatic feeling.

Thank you I love the acoustic set from this night. It's my second favorite my first is 09-26. The Dead were revitalized & reenergized with these shows. Every night had something magical in them. I just stared listening to these tapes again it is very sad that SB's don't exist for every night. It sems every acoustic set was made available as a SB. What about the electric sets. Wouldn't these shows make for a good boxed set? Again Thank you!!!!
