This being my first review, it's obviously highly personal. ..I was at Suny Oneonta in Fall '80 when I first got my hands on this tape. Just came back from the Radio City shows, and ready to continue my trek of dozens of shows to follow with GREAT friends and by myself. I can, and will speak to the shows I've seen. But my GD experience has also been molded by certain tapes. Some before I went to shows, and others during the run. THIS!!!

A few years back I listened online to the 'Professor' out of Columbia MO, I believe, who would put out, at first a one hour GD show then upgraded to 1 1/2 hours every Friday night. The shows were archived so one could listen to old shows for up to about 3 or 4 years. One night he played this show starting w/Big River thro' Scarlet/Fire. This became easily my favorite online archived Professor shows to listen to while playing poker.

Very interesting show on a lot of levels. Great energy throughout, especially starting with a great Sailor>Saint all the way through Drums>Space to The Wheel. Very powerful Deal to close the first set, one of the fastest and most danceable Scarlet's I have ever heard, but then something happens here. The recording, which had to this point been mostly SBD, goes AUD for the rest of the show.
