Well, this show, the Drums > Space just rules - anybody catch the small Cumberland Blues tease at the beginning of space? We got this tape 8 months before they broke out Cumby in Long Beach the following Summer & heard the tease before that - odd coincidence if coincidence it was. The Wheel before drums is so sweet going into D/S & The Other One after the killer Drums/Space/chanting is odd in that Phil BLASTS the band into a third instrumental after verse two that tears the roof off the joint.

I can't recommend this recording enough. As a former SBD-snob, I was skeptical that any audience recording could sway me away from my SBD ways... This set of recordings made by Walker-Scotton (processed by Charlie) are unbelievable. Just take a listen. The sound is full and deep, not thin and raspy. The bass is rich, the highs are crisp. The show is fantastic too, but the sound blows me away.

we're off! Seldom does a show start with such a bang. Absolute detonation into Bertha and it just goes. They stride the musical landscape as colossal beasts. Don't listen to this while driving - you could die...........
