First night of a four night London run. Really nice vocal harmony work on opening Stranger. Another show with great energy. Killer Fire on the Mountain. Sweet solos on Truckin.

When I have been away from my music for a while the first thing I do is reach for an early eighties board. You just can't go wrong. I did not see my first show until '87 and 99 overall but my ears dig this early eighties Brent sound more than any other dead period- Yes that is correct-over '77 and over '72-'74- although I adore these perdiods- I just find myself reaching for the early 80's. Why praytell? Listen here to this hot show; that's why.

Can see why this show was selected to be part of next Dave's Picks release. Really excellent, well-crafted and well-played first set with a nice Stranger and FOTD and both a Loser AND a Candyman. Set 2 kinda unique and jammy with Bob doing a bunch of weird slide stuff. VERY worthy and high quality audio.
