Last night of a four night London run. Half-Step opener and Jerry sounds like he is ready to play. Absolutely blistering Big River. The end of Rooster is some of the best blues soloing I have ever heard from Jerry. Killer a** 17 minute Shakedown to start the second set. I mean this s*** is badass. This entire run has been good but the boys are exceptionally on during this show. They play so hard on Saint of Circumstance you can hear the crowd going nuts.

i went to this night and remember a Mexican wave travelling around the place . It started after lost sailor. The band played a note each round in a circle , getting faster and faster , and sent a spinning vortex out into the hall . I watched everybody beside me lurch in the plexus region as it hit and then we did the same . Then into saint . Only alan stivell has done to my spine what the dead did to my stomach that night.

This show is rip roaring and overflowing with that X factor the boys could throw out on any givin night. Just listen to how tight they are on Rooster. Everyone on this night was in VERY fine form. As the commenter below mentions a BAD a** show.... is tight and hot rip roaring energy. Know how sometimes you have heard a show a few times then it hits you, that's this one here.

This is a bad a** show. Sparkling, glittering, bouncing, rocking. Great China-Rider, great Shakedown (especially toward the end, with Garcia getting kooky). Would love to hear more Phil, but it is still a nice audience recording. I'm trying to be more sparing with the 5 stars, but can't help it. Love these guys.
