- ★★★★★ · Again, Mr. Silberman's Naks Win This AUD Comparison. · lilrichwhiteboy · 2016
There's no contest. I don't know anything about the technical aspects of either Naks or Senns. But I know what I like. And the Naks make it for me...again. Though both carry a decent range, the Naks have a nice richness and fullness of sound. This could be do to placement. That is the unknown with Wise's Senns. I was also not expecting this AUD's dynamics to be quite as good as they are, with the Naks being Back Of Board. Sounds like Silberman is just in front of the board.

My first show was in Lake Placid in '83. Many shows followed. 4 Kids later, a wife and dog and no access to recordings sent me into a dry spell. I actually thought that life was over when Brent died. We have all moved to new places. Music in general lost its meaning for me for years. I just thought that every body forgot. I met an old friend who plays music. I learned about the new scene. The scene that the Dead cultivated for so long.

The first set is smooth and sweet top to bottom and gives hints of what's to come. I don't give "best ever" opinions because music is so subjective and the dead produced so many best ever moments in my life that I simply can't go there BUT this second set is absolutely one of the finest I've heard from the early 80's period. One climactic moment after another in the first 70 minutes or so...wow!
