Awesome Saint of Circumstance jam! Nice Caution as well. Bob sounds really excited on Other One. Wharf Rat is must hear as well.

Edit: My Lord... I am getting tired of reading this Mind Wondin guy above me here. trashing every show the consensus says is great and saying every show the consensus says sucks is awesome. oh well, takes all kinds. On with the review: I loved when the Dead cut loose and just jammed. Alas, I was born ten years too late and started going to shows in late '79.

I guess my ears may be pickier than I suppose. After reading all of the laudatory comments for this FOB, I was expecting to be knocked-out, but I actually find the sound to be a bit tinny and the drums (except for the cymbals) and vocals hard to distinguish. After a song or two, you can hear Healy’s live mix improve, and it may be safe to assume that Glassberg makes some positive adjustments as well. As my ears adapted, this recording became very listenable.

it was Rat Boy's idea. The cane toads. so me and him and The Gooch and Tough Mama and Stella Blue #27 all took some licks. It kicked in right away. During Cassidy Jack appeared next to me and talked about Heaven and recited some poetry. Little Red Rooster i was down in a Delta Roadhouse with Howlin and Son and The King, Robert and we all drank home made hooch that tated like turpentine. From He's Gone to Wharf I was in another dimension. The one Phil D*** told me about in 68. Geat show.
