I remember this show. My brother and I traveled from Louisville to Dayton in my 1972 Toyota Corolla wagon on a cold and snowy evening. A dose of shrooms made the trip all the more adventurous and exciting. When we arrived in Dayton, we stopped at a gas station to ask for direction to Hara Arena. The guy we asked said "Oh yeah man....Grand Funk Railroad!!".

Road trip from the Fiji house (Denison) to Dayton with the whole house. Emma-Jean (the cook) didn't know what was goin' on. An excellent show, general admission on the floor in a small arena!, great sound, excellent show, at least everyone thought so except Sully who thought it was too generic, yah right, Mack-the-Knife! Thanks, it's great to update my collection.

Was drawn in by this show by reading about a contest on Furthur.net about a disastrous one time only cover of a song (Mack the Knife) and boy were they right.
