i was 15 and rather new to partying, so i kinda had too much booze fun the night before this show and was experiencing my first ever hangover on show day. it was bad / i was sick af... was considering not going to the dead show but my buddy with the tickets demanded my presence, so off we went. i really enjoyed these very early 80's dead shows before "in the dark" came out because most of the dead heads at the shows were OG's of the scene...

Wish I'd been at this show. The 'Estimated' has shades of stuff I heard on the 'basement tape',stuff that got cut out when they made it into 'the pizza tapes'. They were really puttin in the work this evening. Bobby's got that 'chimey' sound goin the way he plays those wierd harmonic chords. Awesome.
