...and show...once your ears EQ. Was there that night...last second decision - just got into my car and dove - into a totally madcap front of auditorium melee. No way did I think "walk-up sales," but the light streaming from the box office screamed out unto me, "yes, we have tickets!" Once inside, a fairly nondescript show, marveled at how uninspired i was at the time -- just couldn't get into it thinking Joan Baez was going to be the highlight of the night for me.

does anyone know why brent is not on 'stranger'? did he actually play but healy was too coked out to notice his rhoades was not audible, or was he finishing is cheese steak backstage or something?
- ★★★★ · Generic Looking Setlist, Great Energy · Dylan M · 2011
Though its a Miller Transfer, it does suffer from some unsolvable sound issues that are inherent with the recording. That "canned sound", too much treble and not enough Phil imho. Vocal distortion is kind of weird at times too. A warm up for the smokin' NYE show the next next (most likely my favorite NYE Dead show, next to 76', 78', 84'). Smoking renditions of TLEO, Cumberland, LL>Sup. Any 80s show with a "Casey Jones" is notable. Solid energy level.
