The "This Day in History" dragnet has caught another one. So glad we have this feature, otherwise I would just get lost over the years in this vault. Brilliant audience recording. Just right. Brilliant show. For Friend of the Devil fans....this one is a gem. Jerry's voice....mmmm, good. Reminds me of the Dead Set version, which I hold as a high watermark for that tune. That Bertha>Playin opener really gets it going in the second set.

This was also my first show. 16 years old and two hits of red mirco-dot…Wow!!! Like aadelma said, "I remember very little about the actual music since the scene was new to me". I lost my friends as soon as we got inside. So I figured I’d go to where our seats were. They were also behind the stage but lower down. I remember dancing with some heads and getting high. Lots of elbow room and a very mellow scene. Great first set and a wacky second set.
