This is an excellent recording of a great show. I got a recording of it, also, but was a bit too far back, this is far superior, yet captures precisely what I heard. The entire show is sparkling with energy, but the real fun starts with Crazy Fingers and on. Satisfaction was played because we implored the band for one more set, and we all thought we would get it, but alas.

we flipped when they started playing Crazy Fingers...people were just laughing and hugging each other....it was hard to believe. I think we thought '76 tunes were history. Little did we know. then we had break and then on to Tempe - they played Fingers again...I remember some people griping that it took away from the specialness of Ventura. whatever.

Crazy Fingers resurrected to life after 6 years. First Ventura shows on the beach. Yeah Mon! Doesn't get much better! Luv the crowd chanting one more set before the encore! Classic venue. Classic Dead show!
